March 9 — Buser Takes the Lead "Martin Buser was the first musher to the Yukon River checkpoint of Anvik. He was treated to a seven course meal prepared by the Millennium Hotel Executive Chef, Mick Hug....After enjoying this great meal, Buser was presented with the best dessert of 3,500 crisp $1 bills by the Millennium's Food and Beverage manager, Brooke McGrath."
